“Music is medicine” so is art…  is my inspiration for this piece created during the 2020 lockdown period. I chose Italy as a place to show one side of what lockdown life is right now.  I don’t want to forget the facts that plenty of people live in fear and and illness. This work is to show the true heart of people keeping their lives safe at home and releasing creativity. Coming from the real news : People in Italy keep singing and playing musical instruments from their balconies. I have always adored their culture and sense of creativity, warmth and strength in such moments. A moment that the whole world won’t forget. A lesson to see music, creativity and art and the power beyond these.
