The best thing about creative collage is that there is no restrictions to what you can do or the way you “should “. That’s what I love about being an artist. I follow my own creativity and there is a complete freedom to it. I choose the scale of  a drawing, inspiring topic or simply do a quick digital sketch. Here I suggest what options I generally use. My individual creative technique uses different surfaces as a canvas. I love drawing on wood as an example. I think it gives a different vibe and adds to the hand-drawn part of the artwork. Apart from that the creative use of photoshop itself gives you a variety of tools to create amazing art. I would suggest layering different textures and as an example the drawing that I have here: hatching, a lot of use of white and black as a contrast, main topic /marine / with smaller object around…. and  different background makes magic. Quick tip will be to use cut out shapes and define it using watercolour.
