The Savoy - Sketch

I love doing interior rendering, I often look for inspiration to create already existing bars and restaurants or sketch my own ideas. I aim to do these sketches very quick, just to show an idea, which can work great as a first presentation for a design client before the final render.

How I do it?

I sketch the perspective lines of the room first. Just when I outline with pencil the position of the room, then I start adding shapes and objects - from bigger to smaller detail.

Finally all I do is a mixture of appropriate colouring. What adds a life to the picture is the use of light and shadow as well as contrast. If you focus on the study of how to create a contrast within a drawing, you can do miracles. Make the dark areas darker and light areas - completely left out of colour. It is just about practice to get used to it.
