Chromatica

“When I was young, I prayed for lighting
My mother said it would come and find me
I found myself without a prayer
I lost my love and no one cared
When I was young, I prayed for lightning
Yeah, I looked
With my face up to the sky
But I saw nothing there
No, no, nothing there
Yeah, I stared
While my eyes filled up with tears
But there was nothing there
No, no, nothing
I heard one sine from above
I heard one sine from above
Then the signal split in two
The sound created stars like me and you
Before there was up, there was silence
I heard one sine
And it healed my heart, heard a sine…”

@ladygaga chromatica, “sign from above”

Today I want to talk about the world of Chromatica. I found many and amazing topics that inspired the creation of this song and then my artwork .The album itself talks about the healing power of music and the rebirth after trauma. The process of change that comes with pain and how we become better through facing challenges.

I see the world of chromatica as the new “wonderland”. The place that each one of us aims to reach: a full and bright place. Place where you are not dancing alone anymore, surrounded by music. Place where you have found yourself and your values met. Chromatica can be that sudden change that comes when you need it most, when you need to trust the universe to guide you to a better and happier place. Most ofthen Chromatica then is within you. Or at least starts there💓 .

That is my entry for @LadyGagaxAdobe contest! Stay tunes as more entries are coming in the following days. I am going to publish my design work on Instagram @christine_official_design.

Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

I thought getting out of your comfort zone means doing things you have never done before. Well it is in a way, but what I discovered:

  • Being out of your comfort zone means you shifting everything that you are used to.
  • Out of comfort zone is non attachment to places or people.
  • It is being yourself, having the courage to show up and believe in you.
  • It starts with yourself and your beliefs. It is isn’t always something outrageous like jumping out of a plane. Its more of a mindset and a shift in your mindset that creates a lasting change.

Everyone has their comfort zone and you are pretty much defined by it. ASK Yourself what can you not go in your life without? A person, place, money, friend, your attitude. Then let go of it. That is the way out of your comfort zone. Daring greatly, believing in a new start, clearing your mind.

The London journey

Today I want to write about London and my story. I had a dream and it was to live in London as a designer, have a flat with a beautiful view and experience the city fully. I just made my dream come true before I decided to leave London.

Its hard to leave a place such as London, you need to be here to understand. It is the city that never sleeps, the place which makes you feel like you can trust yourself, place where you grow up and you are surrounded by opportunities . Its not an easy place to live. In the same time it is like nowhere else.

Living here made me feel like nothing is impossible to achieve, you grow up and believe in yourself and your dreams and that will stay with you if you are truly consistent.

You know there is this connection between yourself and a city that you can’t explain. Its my last days in London now. A lot happened here you have both good and bad. The relationship with London is like a relationship with a person. You give a lot to this city you give your time, your life, you fight to create a life here and its not easy. Its a place that I cannot replace. So one day I hope I come back to visit, travel the world and make my mind where I wanna settle.

What London left me with is a bigger trust in myself, the ability to figure out the direction by myself, to make a decision in a hard time, to touch the greatest cultures of the whole world and make friends that last a lifetime. Maybe everything happens for a reason. Whether you choose to stay in London or leave its a city of speed, people come and go. It teaches you that pretty much everything is temporary, that you shouldn’t get attached to people and places. And you can still keep the memories in your heart.
